
GRILLED MUSHROOM CHICKEN
with Cream Sauce

| CREAM SAUCE |

Butter |

Chicken breasts grilled (boneless or bone in) |
| 250ml |
Sardo Grilled Mushrooms |

Cream Sauce |

Roasted tomato Slices or Vine Cherry Tomatoes |

Cream Sauce
- Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat
- Add flour and stir until blended
- Gradually stir in heated milk
- Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until sauce boils and begins to thicken
- Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes
- Stir in cream
- Flavor additions can be made at this time (splash of white wine, nutmeg, or fresh herbs such as rosemary, parsley, etc.
Chicken
- Rub chicken breasts with your favorite spices (garlic, rosemary, oregano, basil, thyme or any combination)
- You can also bake breasts in oven, or pan fry in olive oil/butter combo.
Putting it Together
- Sauté Sardo Grilled Mushrooms in butter and using Sardo PurOliva oil with fresh ground pepper and a bit of sea salt.
- Heat Cream Sauce on medium heat until steamy, stirring often.
- On a plate place the grilled chicken
- Spoon cream sauce over top and add sautéed mushrooms
- Garnish plate with oven roasted vine tomatoes or tomato slices
Serve with rice, potatoes, or pasta
