Grilled Musroom Chicken With Cream Sauce

GRILLED MUSHROOM CHICKEN 
with Cream Sauce
ENTRÉE - Serves 4

Qty Ingredients Needed
CREAM SAUCE
2 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Flour
1/3 cup Heavy Cream
1 cup Heated Milk
MAIN RECIPE
4 Chicken breasts grilled (boneless or bone in)
250ml Sardo Grilled Mushrooms
  Cream Sauce
  Roasted tomato Slices or Vine Cherry Tomatoes
 

Cream Sauce

  1. Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat
  2. Add flour and stir until blended
  3. Gradually stir in heated milk
  4. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until sauce boils and begins to thicken
  5. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes
  6. Stir in cream
  7. Flavor additions can be made at this time (splash of white wine, nutmeg, or fresh herbs such as rosemary, parsley, etc.

Chicken

  1. Rub chicken breasts with your favorite spices (garlic, rosemary, oregano, basil, thyme or any combination)
  2. You can also bake breasts in oven, or pan fry in olive oil/butter combo.

Putting it Together

  1. Sauté Sardo Grilled Mushrooms in butter and using Sardo PurOliva oil with fresh ground pepper and a bit of sea salt.
  2. Heat Cream Sauce on medium heat until steamy, stirring often.
  3. On a plate place the grilled chicken
  4. Spoon cream sauce over top and add sautéed mushrooms
  5. Garnish plate with oven roasted vine tomatoes or tomato slices
    Serve with rice, potatoes, or pasta
