PORTOBELLO MUSHROOM BURGER

Sardo Grilled Portobello Mushrooms

Hamburger Patties (make your own or purchase ready-made)

Hamburger Buns

1

Sliced Tomato (add color by using orange, yellow or Heirloom tomato varieties)

 

Lettuce leaves (Boston or lettuce of choice)

  Dijon Mustard
 

Mayonnaise

to taste

Sea salt and fresh pepper

 
  1. Sauté Sardo Grilled Portobello Mushrooms in a small pan and add Sardo PurOliva oil and butter to heat
  2. Cook or Grill Hamburgers
  3. Slice buns and grill if desired
  4. On bottom bun, spread mayonnaise
  5. On top bun spread Dijon mustard
  6. Add a layer of lettuce to bottom bun
  7. Then add sliced tomato, havarti cheese, and hamburger patty in that order
  8. Top with Sardo Grilled Portobello Mushrooms and top of bun
